Profession

Fatma Angı worked for Turkish Competition Authority (TCA) from 2001 until 2010 as competition expert, and practiced as a competition law enforcement officer on cases especially on telecommunications, media and ICT sectors through continuous market research and legal analysis of the cases regarding competition law infringements, mergers and acquisitions. Furthermore Fatma Angı participated study groups of legal regulations prepared by TCA.

Fatma Angı continued her career as an in-house lawyer at Mersin International Port (PSA-AKFEN joint venture), one of the biggest ports in Turkey and Mediterranean Region and practiced in a wide range of legal matters including corporate law, corporate finance, administrative law (concession agreements, customs law etc), employment law (negotiation and drafting collective agreements, preventive employment consultancy) and contract law (outsourcing, construction, service contracts etc).

As the founding partner of Angı Law Firm, Fatma Angı is now representing national and multinational organizations in commercial and administrative cases and providing consultancy mainly on corporate law, contract law, competition law, intellectual property law and labor law.

Fatma Angı is the author of a number of legal studies and participated conferences as a speaker especially on IP and competition law. She is also a patent and trademark attorney.
